A Vision for Toronto, T'cliffe & the Unreached

George and I were in Toronto April 20-22, and it was great to see so many of you there - especially at the "CRUX: Commission" rally on Saturday night.

1. I am excited about Toronto.
2. My #1 specific vision is for the unreached (ie, people who have never heard about Jesus - also known as 'the forgotten').

I want to join these two visions together and say that I believe Toronto is one of the most strategic places on earth in which and through which to reach the unreached. .. Reach people in Toronto. Then watch them reach their own people. And never stop being part of the action yourself.

If you live in Toronto, you have probably heard the "the world is on our doorstep" message many times. But have you been able to start *connecting* with this vision and these people yet?

I've got exciting news. Things are happening. People on the street *are* interested in talking about Jesus. Including many of your unsaved friends.

It was exciting to be at "CRUX: Commission" for two reasons. I believe that it will prove to be (1) one of the most vision-filled nights Toronto has seen and (2) one of the biggest, most connected, most realistic things that has happened among Brethren circles in Toronto in particular for a long time.

"CRUX: Commission." Check out these pictures and videos, pray, and get fired up. Get vision. Get moving. Things are happening.

31 secs. George Verwer: "Toronto is a mission field."

38 secs. George supports the new church plant: "So I just thank the Lord that you love these people and you're willing to go live among them. And we want to commit ourselves--and I've been praying for Toronto for about 48 years--we want to commit ourselves to really pray for this ministry - especially different people from different churches working together."

26 secs. "You are a sent one."

37 secs. "Your work is important with God. Your career is important with God. There are ways you can use that career perhaps more than you've understood at this time. It's not wrong to pursue a solid career. At the same time, we need to all be available. Maybe the Lord wants to change your direction."
