Happy 28th Birthday, Ted!

Today is March 24 and my brother Ted's birthday! If you know Ted, consider emailing him--ask me for this email if you don't have it--to wish him a happy birthday.

Ted's and my mutual friend Dave likes to email prayers to people, so I thought I would "blog a prayer" for Ted here. The cool thing about this is, if you agree, you can pray along as you read this prayer. Then it's like we're praying together for Ted. :)

Dear Lord: Thank you for Ted and his heart for you. Give him a wonderful, special day, filled with good stuff, over there in Zambia. Give him a good year, too. May it be a year of growth and moving forward, and even moving backward when that's what you want for him. Thank you for how you've recently used Ted at Greenwood and at UofT, and may you work miracles in the lives Ted has planted seeds in - in these places and in many others. Thank you for Ted's faithfulness and "mega loyalty," his love for learning and patience with the books, and his gift for languages and writing; and use all these things for your glory. Amen.
