A sad day in Zimbabwe

A few years ago Zimbabwe was known for producing the most-educated professionals in Africa. Its economy was strong, tribalism minimal, and poverty low. Today, people are actually starving under the nation's murderous regime and its barbarous leader Robert Mugabe.
It was a sad day in Zimbabwe--a day with no end in sight--when Mugabe was declared the 'winner' of the run-off elections this past weekend.
WSBSTV.com reports:
"African and other world leaders have condemned the election, in which Mugabe was the only candidate. Human rights groups said opposition supporters were the targets of brutal state-sponsored violence during the campaign, leaving more than 80 dead and forcing some 200,000 to flee their homes. Tsvangirai withdrew from the race because of the violence, though his name remained on the ballot."
What you and I can do about it:
"Learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow." - Isaiah 1:17
