Very sad, but there is a sure hope
An excerpt from the weekly family letter from my parents in Zambia:
"A man came from Shamende today on the Chembe road with gifts of bananas and sweet potatoes for us. He had a six year old son with a heart condition. We helped pay for their trip to Lusaka to get medical help for the son's condition. The Lusaka hospital said they should return in June, and they were offering to fly the boy to India for heart treatment. However, that night the little boy died. His last words were, "Daddy, please pray for me." As his father held him in his arms and prayed for him the boy died. It is a great comfort to the father to know the son is with the Lord."
